Acceptable Use Policy

To keep IGCart a safe and trusted marketplace, all merchants and users must follow these guidelines.

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the behavior of all merchants and users who access the IGCart platform. By using our services, you agree to comply with this AUP in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Prohibited Products & Goods

Merchants may NOT use IGCart to list, sell, or promote:

  • Illegal goods, controlled substances, or narcotics
  • Counterfeit, replica, or unauthorized branded products
  • Weapons, firearms, ammunition, or explosives
  • Stolen goods or items obtained fraudulently
  • Explicit adult content or pornographic material
  • Products that make false health claims
  • Endangered animal products

3. Prohibited Activities

Neither merchants nor users may engage in the following:

  • Fraud, misrepresentation, or deceptive trade practices
  • Spamming customers or sending unsolicited communications
  • Collecting customer data beyond what is necessary for order fulfillment
  • Scraping, crawling, or using automated tools to access platform data without permission
  • Attempting to hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer platform infrastructure
  • Creating fake reviews or manipulating platform ratings
  • Infringing on patents, trademarks, copyrights, or trade secrets

4. Merchant Responsibilities

Merchants are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy of their product listings, pricing, and descriptions
  • Fulfilling orders promptly and as described
  • Handling customer service, returns, and refunds honestly
  • Complying with all applicable local, national, and international laws
  • Collecting and remitting applicable taxes

5. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP. Actions we may take include removing listings, suspending or permanently terminating merchant accounts, withholding pending payouts, and reporting illegal activity to relevant authorities.

6. Reporting Violations

If you encounter a storefront, product, or user that you believe violates this policy, please report it through the storefront's contact page or reach out to our support team. We investigate all credible reports and take appropriate action.
